How to find purpose and meaning (when we get a little lost).

I am so miserable and tired of the monotony of life. Join the club. We will all inevitably ask, what is my purpose? What does it all mean?  All of us at some point will suffer from the want of meaning or purpose in our lives.  Without it, we drift away from ourselves and everyone else, living in a state of anxiety.
