Prayer Group

Ministries

The St. Matthew’s Prayer Group which started in April 1997, is one of the prayer groups among the different parishes in the Archdiocese of Vancouver.  It is open to all who are interested in strengthening their Christian walk with the Lord Jesus Christ.

The St. Matthew’s Prayer Group meets every Monday at the Jubilee Hall from 7:30pm – 9:00pm (except on statutory holidays), to experience God’s love in a personal way through the power of the Holy Spirit.  This multi-generational group is a resource for prayers, not just for the participants, but for the whole parish community.

Come join us; let us praise, sing, pray and share the word of God with joy!  We will bring your needs and concerns before the merciful Lord during our prayer meetings.  To join the meetings or to submit your prayer request, please email smpgprayerline@hotmail.com.  You can also drop your prayer intentions in the prayer box located by the church main entrance and we will offer your requests to the Sacred Heart of Jesus on First Friday of the month.
